In a world where health and well-being are at the forefront, the profession of exercise physiology has emerged as a pivotal force in preventing and managing diseases and disabilities, optimising physical performance, and unlocking the full potential of the human body. Leading the charge in Sydney, is Christopher Kondos, an accredited exercise physiologist, and the founder of Sydney Exercise Medicine.

What does an accredited exercise physiologist do?

Exercise physiology is a multidisciplinary field that combines biology, physiology, and kinesiology to explore how our bodies respond and adapt to physical activity and exercise. Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are university-qualified allied health professionals with the expertise to prescribe safe and effective exercise interventions for individuals dealing with health conditions, injuries, or disabilities.
